½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp dried basil
2 bay leaves
1 ½ salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup milk
1/three cup all-purpose flour
1 cup frozen peas
¼ cup chopped contemporary parsley leaves

For the dumplings:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
½ cup milk
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled barely
